Summary

You are stuck in a dungeon with ya boy David, you have to help David escape from this dungeon.

Help David by guiding him to points of interest, throw objects at him so he can use them. David will tell you what he sees so you know what to do next.


Controls:

ZQSD to move / 'E' to interact / 'Left Click' to Ping or Throw an item

Interact on the edge to enter 'Ping Mode'

Some interactions block the player. Press 'R' to stop the interaction.


Context

This project was done in the context of a personal GameJam with the theme: "Get me out of here!"

I wanted to make a game where, the one in trouble is not the player, but someone else, and you have to help him.


Game Mechanic

In this game, you can "Ping" some objects for David to check.

When David check an object, he will tell the player what he sees.

The player can pick up objects and throw them at David so he can use them to progress.

The player has a safe next to him. By interacting with it, they can input a code.
